Hello girls!

The second "Did you know?" post it's about an actor that I like very much, I'm talking about Daniel Gillies, you may know him from "The Vampire Diaries", where he plays the handsome original vampire, Elijah Mikaelson.
Also, you can watch him in his summer series: "Saving Hope", where he plays the role of a charming doctor, and this autumn you can also watch him in the "Vampire Diaries" spin-off, called "The Originals". By the way, the second season of "Saving Hope" starts on June 25th.

Now let's get back to what I wanted to write in this post.

Did you know that Daniel Gillies is married for about 9 years with Rachael Leigh Cook, the actress who plays the role of detective Kate Moretti in the ABC show "Perception"? 
A few days ago, the press announced that Daniel and Rachael are expecting their first child this fall! Congrats!

Al doilea "Stiati ca?" post este despre un actor pe care eu una il ador, este vorba despre Daniel Gillies, probabil ca il stiti din serialul "Jurnalele Vampirilor", unde il joaca pe fermecatorul vampir original, Elijah Mikaelson.
De asemenea, il puteti urmari si in serialul  "Saving Hope", unde joaca rolul unui doctor carismatic, iar din toamna il putem vedea si in "The Originals", spin-off al serilului "Jurnalele Vampirilor". Apropo, sezonul 2 din "Saving Hope" incepe in data de 25 iunie.

Acum, haideti sa ne intoarcem la ce vroiam sa va spun.

Tv-shows/ Seriale: Rookie Blue

[EN] Hello ladies!

   Today I want to talk to you about a tv-show that I absolutely love.
    Rookie Blue is a canadian police drama that premiered on June 24, 2010 on ABC. The show has three seasons and season 4 is going to start this May. 

   

     So far, I've seen this show three times, I tend to watch several times the series that I like very much (for example: One Tree Hill, I believe that I’ve seen this show 5 times so far; as well as Grey's Anatomy).

    Now let’s get back to the show that I wanted to talk about today. As I said above, Rookie Blue is a tv-show about cops, more specifically, the show focuses on the lives of five rookie cops (Andy, Gail, Traci, Dov, Chris) from the 15 Division.

    I liked this show from the begin of season one, and the next two seasons didn’t disappoint me, I would say that the show gets better and better with every episode/season. 

    From my point of view, Rookie Blue is one of the most exciting police drama that I’ve seen so far. I can’t say that I’ve seen any episode where I was bored, or one case that I didn’t find it interesting, there is always an element that keeps you alert and afraid for the lives of your favorite characters. Actually, I think that this is why I love this show so much, because the lives of the main characters and their loved ones always intersect with their missions.

   Besides the five rookie cops, there are other characters, like: Sam, Noelle, Oliver, Frank, Jerry and Luke, the more experinced officers and detectives from the 15 Division, those who guide and teach them the secrets of this dangerous job.

    Before I started watching Rookie Blue I had no ideea who those actors were, I haven’t seen them in other shows and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they played their roles and how they managed to make me feel every emotion and every feeling.

     I absolutely love all the characters, but my favorites are Sam, Andy and Jerry. I don’t want to get into too much details because I don’t want to spoil the pleasure of discovering yourself this series, but I just want to say that you can feel the chemistry between the characters since the first episode of season one. I would like to tell you more about the relationships, the friendships and about the couples of this show but that would mean to give you some details which could be considered spoilers.

  Rookie Blue has all the ingredients for a great show: drama, romance, comedy, and action. Maybe you already watch this kind of tv-shows, but I promise that you will not regret watching this one, if you decide to give it a chance. Many people had described this show as Grey's Anatomy with rookie cops.

      Am vrut sa scriu despre acest serial de foarte mult timp, dar abia acum am reusit sa o fac.

     Rookie Blue este un serial canadian, cu si despre politisti, difuzat de postul de televiziune ABC, care a avut premiera in iunie 2010. Serial are pana acum 3 sezone, iar sezonul 4 va debuta in luna mai a acestui an.

     Pana in prezent am vazut acest serial de trei ori, obisnuiesc sa ma uit de mai multe ori la serialele care imi plac foarte mult ( de exemplu la One Tree Hill cred ca m-am uitat de 5 ori pana acum, la fel si la Anatomia lui Grey, apropo, vi le recomand pe amandoua, sunt doua seriale excelente).  

   Acum sa revenim la serialul despre care vreau sa va povestesc astazi. Dupa cum am spus si mai sus, Rookie Blue este un serial cu si despre politisti, mai exact, serialul se centreaza pe vietile celor cinci politisti incepatori (Andy, Gail, Traci, Dov,Chris) din cadrul Diviziei 15 de politie.  

   M-am indragostit de serial inca de la inceputul sezonului 1, iar urmatoarele doua sezone nu m-au dezamagit, as putea spune ca devine din ce in ce mai bun cu fiecare episod/ sezon.  

   Din punctul meu de vedere, Rookie Blue este unul dintre cele mai captivante drame politiste pe care le-am vazut pana acum (poate cu o mica exceptie, Third Watch, un serial mai vechi dar extrem de reusit). Nu exista episod care se te plictiseasca, nu exista cazuri neinteresante, mereu exista un element care sa te tina in suspans si sa te faca sa te temi pentru viata personajelor pe care le indragesti. De fapt, cred ca asta ma atrage foarte mult la serial, faptul ca viata personajelor si a persoanelor dragi din jurul lor se intersecteaza mai mereu cu misiunile acestora.  

   Bineinteles ca pe langa cei cinci tineri incepatori exista si alte personaje: Sam, Noel, Frank, Oliver, Jerry, si Luke , sunt ofiterii si detectivii cu experienta ai Diviziei 15, cei care ii indruma si ii invata secretele acestei meserii periculoase. 

   Pana sa urmaresc Rookie Blue nu mai auzisem de actorii acestui serial, nu ii mai vazusem in nicio productie pana acum si am ramas placut surprinsa de cat de bine joaca, de cat de bine reusesc sa transmita trairile si sentimentele lor. 

   Imi plac absolut toate personajele, dar preferatii mei sunt Sam, Andy si Jerry. Nu vreau sa intru foarte mult in detalii, pentru ca nu vreau sa va stric placerea de a descoperi singuri acest serial, dar vreau doar sa va spun ca se simte, inca din primul episod, chimia dintre personaje. As vrea sa va vorbesc mai mult despre relatiile de prietenie si despre cuplurile acestui serial dar asta ar insemna sa va dau prea multe detalii, care ar putea fi considerate spoilere. 

   Rookie Blue are toate ingredientele unui serial absolut fantastic: drama, dragoste, comedie si actiune. Poate urmariti deja multe seriale de genul acesta, dar va promit ca nu veti regreta daca ii acordati o sansa. Serialul a fost comparat cu Anatomia lui Grey. 

Sunt curioasa daca urmariti acest serial si ce parere aveti despre el!

Hello lovelies!

Today I want to start a new category on the blog called "Did you know?". In this section you will find different things about fashion, tv-shows, celebrities, beauty and music.

The first "Did you know?" post is going to be about one of my favorite tv-shows: Suits.

Did you know that Harvey and Zoe are husband and wife in real life?

I don't know if you remember but this season in episode 07 -"Sucker Punch" we met Zoe (Jacinda Barrett), a former lawyer at Pearson Hardman.  She was brought back into the firm by Harvey (Gabriel Macht) because of the lawsuit that they had at that moment.
I think that Harvey and Zoe have great chemistry on screen and I hope to see Zoe more often in the show. By the way, Suits was renewed for season 3!

Now, I'm off to watch the last episode aired.

The Vampire Diaries Spin-off: The Originals

   The idea of a Vampire Diaries spin-off crossed my mind at the end of season three, after they introduced us to the members of the original family. Imagine my happiness when, two weeks ago, I read an article in which it was announced that CW is developing  „The Originals”, a Vampire Diaries spin-off  featuring the werewolf/vampire Klaus played by Joseph Morgan, the werewolf Hayley played by Phoebe Tonkin and the vampire Elijah played by Daniel Gillies. As many of you know, Daniel Gillies is playing at the moment in his medical drama „Saving Hope” but it was announced that he will also have the time to start in this spin-off.
As for the rest of the Mikaelson family joining the series there is no news yet.

If you are wondering when you will be able to watch this first episode I have good news for you: in a few months, to be more exact: the April 25 episode of the Vampire Diaries will serve as the pilot for this potential series called „The Originals.”

There is nothing sure yet, but if this episode that will air on April 25 will be received well and if the ratings will please those from the CW, the show could air as early as next season.

In this potential first episode of „The Originals”:„Klaus returns to the French Quarter of New Orleans, a supernatural melting pot that he helped build centuries ago, and is reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel. Intent on helping his self-destructive brother find redemption, Elijah must side with Marcel’s enemies to keep Klaus in line.”

 I remember that I was fascinated with episode 3x08 "Ordinary People" in which the producers told us more about the original family and how they became the original vampires. I love this storyline and I was ecstatic when I found out that the CW is developing this spin-off. I know that the producers of the Vampire Diaries listen to us- the fans and I’m really glad that they have decided to make this new series. I really hope that this episode will be good and the series will be picked up by CW.

I don’t know if you remember but episode 24 (season 2) of Gossip Girl served also as a backdoor pilot for a potential Gossip Girl spin-off series set in the 1980, centered on the mysterious past of Lily van der Woodsen, called "Valley Girls". Unfortunately, the spin-off series was not picked up.
